This full-metal sealed valve is used in ultra-high vacuum systems or cryogenic systems where elastomer-sealed valves cannot be used due to extreme temperatures.
Working Temperature Range: From 450° C to -250° C.
Under the condition of the highest temperature baking, the service life is 50 times of opening.
Under medium baking, the service life is approximately 200 times of opening.
A dial indicator on the top of the valve can indicate the correct closing torque and when the seal should be replaced.
It can operate at low temperatures.
Vacuum Degree: 1.0*10⁻¹¹ Torr.
Structure: Full-metal sealed structure.
Surface Treatment: Inner and outer electrolytic polishing.
Bellows: Long-life stainless steel bellows.
Sealing Fittings: Oxygen-free copper sealing fittings that are easy to replace.
Design Feature: Full-size lift design to increase flow conductance.
Assembly Environment: Assembled in a Class 10,000 cleanroom.
Leakage Rate: ≤1.0*10⁻¹¹ std. cc/sec.
Two types of flange interfaces, CF16 and CF35, are provided. It is equipped with a dial indicator for closing. Both 2D and 3D models can be provided, and non-standard customization is accepted. If you have any requirements, you can consult our sales engineers.
Notes:
Do not exceed the maximum torque specification.
The lift valve seal can be easily replaced using a flathead screwdriver.
After replacing the seal, the valve must be tightened to a higher torque value than during normal operation to seat it in place.
After closing the valve to the normal torque value, loosen the set screw under the closing nut, rotate the indicator counterclockwise to the farthest line on the top of the valve, and then retighten the set screw. The valve can be closed to this mark almost infinitely.
Regularly checking with a torque wrench will indicate seat wear and the correct mark for alignment. When the indicator reaches the last mark, it is recommended to replace the seal.
